FAQ - “Why isn’t my AC keeping up on hot, humid days?”
Subtitle: I find that a lot of homeowners that are experiencing issues with hot, humid conditions inside their house is that their air conditioner's not keeping up. One thing that could be checked, is their air filter. Airflow is key. And if you're not moving that air, you cannot condition that air. If the air filter is in good condition, and your system is circulating throughout the house, the way it should be, there is a good possibility, that there is an issue somewhere else. It potentially could be a low refrigerant issue, which would reduce the capacity on how well that system would cool. It also could be an airflow issue with the outdoor unit as well too. Having a dirty or plugged outdoor condenser coil can reduce airflow, which also reduces the capacity that system can actually handle.
